DETAILS: This is a 4 day program designed for highly motivated and dedicated athletes who have a strong desire to increase their abilities. The focus of this program will be to maintain ringette skills in a high-performance environment that will challenge the athlete’s game sense and technical-tactile skills. Athletes will work on technical edge-work to improve their overall skating abilities and therefore improve their ability to perform advanced skills at a high-speed. Drills will be performed at a fast pace and high-intensity to simulate game situations. Skills and technical focuses will include edge-work, 1v1s, 2v2s, strong defensive positioning, offensive creativity, and more! The goal is for all players to experience a positive high-performance environment that will improve their ability to perform at a high level, and gain confidence in their ability to compete in the upcoming season.

Dryland will be run by Alyssa Morrison w/Duckett Perfromance - Alyssa Morrison (CSCS, FRC) is a Kinesiology (BKin) and Psychology (BA-P) graduate of the University of Calgary. Over the past six years of her career, she has been fortunate enough to work with a variety of developing youth athletes and teams such as hockey, ringette, soccer, basketball, and track to name a few. While at the U of C, Alyssa completed an internship position in Strength and Conditioning with the Calgary Flames. Alyssa currently works as a S&C Coach at the Duckett Performance Center and Vergie Speed. Because of her interests and breadth of knowledge, she does not specialize in one sport, and instead works with the individual or team to understand their sport needs and develop a training plan in conjunction with their goals. Outside of coaching - you can find her planning her next hiking adventure, rock climbing, or snowboarding.
