HURRICANE HOCKEY ACADEMY (2008-2011)


We will once again be offering FALL Academies

(Winter Academies will continue into the new year and will be released in Oct/Nov)

*If registering for a program and arenas close, refunds will be processed on a pro-rated basis minus incurred costs to date.All academies will follow the physical distancing guidelines until further notice...meaning one can do additional skills development outside of their association "Sport-Cohort" so long as we practice physical distancing guidelines. To be clear, this program will NOT be a "sport cohort", as we will follow physical distancing guidelines as mandated by AHS. This is not a learn to skate program or a stand-alone alternative to your community hockey. This program is intended for players that already have a strong foundation to build upon from within their respective community programs.

SPRING TEAMS AND SPRING DEVELOPMENT ID SKATES

$30 (Plus GST) 
*players will receive one skate, plus potential 2nd skate if needed
 
2021 Jr. Hurricane Spring 2014/15 Development ID Skate
These will be strictly skill development based evaluations as to not interfere with your current "sport cohort"
*We will be looking to select players for our Spring 'Lite" Development Program that will run Saturdays/Sundays through April/May

Please read the following important details regarding the specific camp for which you have registered your son/daughter:

Specific Arena Protocols and Guidelines will be sent out prior to the start of each camp

  • Players will receive a practice jersey (if they are registered in multiple camps through August, they will receive only one jersey, so please do not misplace or forget the jersey for future camps).
  • Full equipment is mandatory. Player's will not be able to participate without proper equipment - no exceptions.
  • NeckGuards are Mandatory - players without one will be removed from the ice. 
  • Mouthguard's are recommended, but optional
  • Please have skates sharpened.
  • Water bottles are the responsibility of the participant and are highly recommended.
  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen property while attending the camp. Please keep an eye on your property and leave all valuables at home
  • If applicable, it is the parents/child's responsibility to ensure skates are tied.
  • During our programming, your player(s) will be experiencing instruction from our staff and in return we ask for participation and positive attitude and effort from all players. Please be respectful and courteous to all the instructors, fellow students, arena staff, parents and family that will be in attendance all week.

Flexible Payment Options We understand the cost of sport and would hate for that to get in the way, so feel free to contact us about flexible payment options. All payments are accepted through FrontOfficeHockey (Secure Credit Card. Additional may fees apply)

Cancellation Policy We understand that injuries, conflicts, and changes of plans occur. Cancellations must be received in writing (e-mail admin@hurricanepowerskating.com) and confirmed by Hurricane Powerskating by 60 days prior to the start of the registered camp (minus a $60 admin fee). PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO REFUNDS or CREDITS given to cancellations after 60 days prior to the start of the registered camp.
