DETAILS: 9 Hours on-ice and 4 hours of dryland
Technical Skate w/Danielle Fujita: Technical Powerskating Program led by NHL Skating Instructor Danielle Fujita! The classes cover technical aspects of advanced skating skills for the following:
Dryland w/Duckett Perfromance: players will participate in Off-ice Skating Specific Conditioning and Training. The focus of the dryland will be: skating specific fundamental training; flexibility, strength and conditioning, endurance training, explosive power training; quick feet/acceleration; age appropriate plyometric activities followed by Yoga and stretching emphasis to reduce strains and prevent injury
Small Area Movement & 3on3 w/Jamie Steer: This camp is back by popular demand meant for highly motivated players (2008 and High Performing 2009s PWAA/1, HSLMAJORAA/AAA) to prepare for competitive fall camps/evaluations. Players will be placed on a team to compete in a combination of Small Area Movement Skills and Pro-Style Flow Drills with a focus on speed and skill as well as 3on3 cross ice games to enhance and expose each player’s creativity. The goal of the program is for all players to experience hockey in a positive, competitive atmosphere (coaching will be positive, constructive, and corrective); to be encouraged to take risks; read and react to improve offensive and defensive awareness; and, most importantly, to gain greater confidence and skill on the ice heading into fall evaluations. Maximum 24 skaters and 4 goalies. Certified/Qualified NCCP/Hockey Canada Coaches.
